"Troppo Bianchi" #SpikeLee Boicotta Cerimonia #Oscar! @SpikeLee #OscarsSoWhite @officialspikelee

Spike Lee non parteciperà alla cerimonia degli Oscar il mese prossimo.

L'annuncio è stato fatto dallo stesso regista di Brooklyn su Instagram, denunciando la mancanza di diversità' tra gli attori candidati.

Lee ha approfittato del giorno in cui si festeggia Martin Luther King (18 gennaio, ndr), leader dei diritti civili, per mettere in evidenza che gli Oscar sono ancora 'troppo bianchi'.

"Come e' possibile che per il secondo anno consecutivo - si legge sul suo profilo - tutti i candidati sotto la categoria attore sono bianchi? E non entriamo neanche negli altri settori. 40 attori bianchi in due anni e nessuna diversità'. Per caso non siamo in grado di recitare? Che cavolo".

Quella sollevata da Lee in realtà è l'ultima di una serie di polemiche che esprime il generale malcontento in un anno in cui non e' stato nominato neanche un candidato di colore, unica eccezione il regista di origini messicane Alejandro Inarritu, con il film 'The Revenant'.

Il malcontento è scoppiato anche su Twitter dove l'hashtag #OscarsSoWhite è diventato uno dei più popolari.

For Once, (Maybe) I Would Like The Media To Ask All The White Nominees And Studio Heads How They Feel About Another All White Ballot. If Someone Has Addressed This And I Missed It Then I Stand Mistaken. As I See It, The Academy Awards Is Not Where The "Real" Battle Is. It's In The Executive Office Of The Hollywood Studios And TV And Cable Networks. This Is Where The Gate Keepers Decide What Gets Made And What Gets Jettisoned To "Turnaround" Or Scrap Heap. This Is What's Important. The Gate Keepers. Those With "The Green Light" Vote.
